Goalkeeper Caballero wants Manchester City to change dynamics

London, Sep 23 (IANS): Manchester City's Argentine goalkeeper Willy Caballero has asked his teammates to change "the negative dynamics" displayed by the team in recent games.

"I'll be ready if selected to play and if I do, it is a great chance for me and the rest of the players to change the dynamics of the last week," Caballero said in a statement that was posted on the club's website on Tuesday, reports Efe.

After two consecutive defeats at the hands of Juventus in the Champions League (1-2) and West Ham in the English Premier League (1-2), City seeks to return to its winning form quickly.

The 33-year-old Argentine goalkeeper, in his second season at City following his move from Malaga, says he is prepared to spend life as City's second-choice goalkeeper.

"I knew the situation before I joined City, but I like how things are going. This is the first really big club I've played for and I have a fantastic goalkeeper in front of me in Joe Hart," he said.

"Joe keeps improving which means I have to keep up with him and keep improving too which is really good for me and for my career. I train really hard every day and intend to enjoy it," the Argentine added.
