Mangalore, Jul 18: In yet another incident of harassment on women, a teenager allegedly raped a minor girl in near Amara Mudnur near here.
The accused has been identified as Shashi Kumar (17), a resident of Kutelu Amara Mudnur village. He forcibly stopped a 7-year-old girl near her house in the same village and raped her.
It is alleged in the complaint lodged at the Sullia police station that the boy after committing the dastardly act also issued a life threat to the minor. Shashi Kumar is said to have threatened her that if she disclosed the crime perpetrated on her, he would kill her.
A case under rape, criminal restraint along with criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia police station in this regard.
