Bengaluru, Mar 19 (DHNS): The Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (RDPR) department has introduced a scheme in the name of environmentalist Salumarada Thimmakka.

It is good to know Govt. recognized Thimmakka's selfless dedication for a worthy cause.

Let's hope this effort bears much fruit in the real sense and not go waste like the "vanamahotsavas" and the like ones.

I also hope Thimmakka will personally guide the State in this respect.

I appreciate the scheme that too in name of Madam Thimmakka. But what about the machinery behind it to support this vision? At least once in three months review of this scheme should be done and present before the public. Otherwise this is one more Nam Ke Vaste Project.
