Hockey team cheers for India in Bangladesh match


Bengaluru, Mar 24 (IANS): The Indian hockey team were out at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium to cheer for the national cricket team which was playing Bangladesh in a World Twenty20 Group 2 match here on Wednesday.

"Good luck team india. it's great to witness a live match here in Bengaluru #WT20 #IndvsBan," defender Rupinder Pal Singh tweeted, also attaching a photograph.

The photograph showed Rupinder, Jasjit Singh Kular, Mandeep Singh, captain Sardar Singh, Mandeep Singh, Devinder Walimiki, chief coach Roelant Oltmans and assistant coach Tushar Khandekar among others sitting in the stands.

The hockey team is scheduled to take part in the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup to be held in Ipoh, Malaysia, from April 6 to 16.
