About 200 wrestlers to compete in Vietnam's national championships


Hanoi, June 20 (IANS): About 200 wrestlers will take part in Vietnam's national championships, which kicked off on Monday in Vietnam's northern Bac Giang province, some 50 kilometres north of capital Hanoi.

The participants come from 17 teams nationwide, reported Vietnam's state-run news agency VNA on Monday, according to Xinhua.

The participants will compete in classic wrestling and freestyle wrestling in knockout form.

The championships are scheduled to last till Friday.
