St Aloysius College students, Beeri request removal of garbage bin

Mangaluru, Jul 21: Students from St Aloysius Institute of Management and Technology, Beeri had gone to the nearby Pattana Panchayath at Kotekar to request the removal of the litter box in front of the college.





They spoke to the head of the Pattana Panchayath, president Uday Kumar. The students explained the problems they face such as garbage getting washed away in front of the gates due to the rains thereby makeing it difficult for them to walk. The foul smell is unbearable.

The president of Pattana Panchayath, Uday Kumar agreed to their terms and vowed to solve the problem. Students from ecology drive of MAGIS association were present.
