Bengaluru, Jul 29: India's women footballers will be seen in action when the All India Women's Football (5-a-side) Tournament takes place in the city on Saturday August 20. All women's teams from colleges, clubs, academies and schools from all over India can take part in the one day event. 

Football craze now being the new thing in Indian sports scene, women football players will have a splendid chance to show off their skills and win laurels. The winning team will be given Rs 20,000 while the runner up team will get Rs 10,000 along with a glittering trophy and medals. The league cum knockout tournament will see at least 24 teams from all over the country locking horns for the coveted title. Outstation teams will be given free boarding and lodging during the tournament.

The women's tournament organised by Denz Foundation of Bengaluru is yet another feather in their cap after having successfully organised the All India Under5 Football Tournament in the last two years.
