SC dismisses BCCI's review petition

New Delhi, Oct 18 (Agencies): The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed BCCI’s petition for reviewing its verdict on Lodha panel recommendations.

The Supreme Court had earlier accepted the Lodha panel recommendations including a bar on ministers and civil servants, and those over 70 years from becoming its members, among other things.

As BCCI has shown reluctance to follow Lodha panel’s recommendations, the court is exploring ways to enforce them.

Details awaited.
