National Disaster Response Force, State Disaster Response Force, Fire department, locals and scuba drivers have been searching for stunt men Anil and Uday, who had drowned two days back. Rescue teams were complaining about the depth and poor visibility due to pollutants in the water, affecting the operation.

Anil and Uday, along with popular actor Duniya Vijay were performing the stunt to shoot the climax of the film "Maastigudi", for which they had to jump off from the helicopter into the water, but it went awry. The stunt men duo, who were reportedly not equipped with swimming skills, had drowned as the faulty rescue boat could not reach them on time, while Vijay was rescued by a fisher man on his country boat.

Some sources said that it is yet to be confirmed that it is Uday’s body.

Search operation continues for another body.

This is one of the worst disasters to hit Kannada film industry in state.

Ok they did not follow the safety procedures- will get 2- 3 years prison time if found guilty of the crime.

1.Does this give justice to the drowned stunts man?
    2. Are they insured? If not then these deaths should necessitate laws to have Industry pay for their insurance. no laxity.
    3. Make the producer and the stunts director financially liable for this.

    4. As the Stunts director as well as the producer and the director of the movie whose utter disregard for ensuring safety measures as well as to take responsibility of the human crew members, caused this tragedy- they are culpable.
    5. Loss of lives and loss of lively hood should necessitate a 10 crore law suit against these individuals.
    6. Entire Kannada film Industry also is responsible as they have a culture that does not heed to safety and well being of crew members of the film industry.

Making them liable with huge financial amount is the only way to move forward and ensure safety in the future. Its a great serve as a deter-ant
