Manchester City's Aguero suspended for 4 matches

London, Dec 6 (IANS): The Football Association (FA) of England has confirmed that Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero has been banned from playing in the upcoming four matches for violent conduct, after being sent off during the recent English Premier League (EPL) clash against Chelsea.

The 28-year-old Argentine had received a red card after a challenge against David Luiz of Chelsea. Chelsea eventually went on to win 3-1 at City's Etihad Stadium, reports Efe.

In a statement released on Man City's official website on Monday , the club said "Aguero, who was retrospectively banned earlier in the season after a clash with West Ham's Winston Reid, was sent off against Chelsea at the weekend and will now miss the games against Leicester City, Watford, Arsenal and Hull City."

This was Aguero's second red card of the season after receiving one in August against West Ham United.
