Atletico will rise again: Moya

Madrid, Dec 16 (IANS): Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Miguel Angel Moya has stressed that his team will recover from its current slump that has seen it lose the last three matches.

"The team is not used to having these rough patches that we're going through lately. We have not scored a goal in the last three matches; we've won eleven points out of 21 away from home; had few defeats. But the truth is that we are a fighting team, a strong team, and we are not going to give up," Moya said in an interview posted on the club's official website on Thursday, reports Efe news agency.

Atletico are currently sixth on the La Liga table with 12 points.

Moya will be included in the starting line-up for the next three or four months following an injury to his Slovenian teammate Jan Oblak during a match against Villarreal recently.
