Mangaluru: St Mary’s School, Kinnigoli celebrates Annual Day

Mangaluru, Dec 22: The management, principal, teachers and students of St Mary’s Central School, Kinnigoli, presented a strong and unique message ‘Save Earth & Protect Humankind’  on the 5th Annual Day celebration of the Institution.

The correspondent of St Marys Institution, Fr Vincent Francis Monteiro, presided over the programme. MLC and chief whip of Karnataka Legislative Council Ivan D’Souza, and director of Public Instruction of Primary Education K Ananda were the chief guests.































Ivan D’Souza congratulated the management, principal, teachers and students for championing social awareness along with value-based excellent education through St Mary’s Central School. He wished them success in the future.

K Ananda appreciated the objectives of the school, which helps provide the best education to everyone.

The student fraternity entertained the audience with beautiful dances. The multimedia presentation ‘Save Earth and Protect Humankind’, written by Vinod Gangolli,  was the highlight of the celebration. It was a combination of drama, dance and a video on three different stages, which was a new theatrical experience for the audience. Young students with colourful costumes and remarkable talent mesmerised the packed audience and gave a strong message to save mother earth and humankind.

Fr Vincent Monteiro welcomed the gathering, and Ranjeetha proposed the vote of thanks. Romia D’Costa compered the programme.

Vinod Gangolli and Namana Shetty were honoured at the occasion.

Fr Sunil Pinto presented the Annual Report. Fr Paul Sequeira, the representative of CBE, Vincent Vinod D’Souza, vice president, Kinnigoli Church, Fr Sunil Praveen Pinto, Principal, and Anitha Pinto, vice president of PTA, were present at the occasion.
