Puttur, Dec 23: The BCom students of 1990-91 batch of St Philomena College here, got together on December 18 at the college auditorium. This reunion was organized by them for the first time after 25 years since they had graduated from the college. It was a momentous and joyous occasion as they greeted their teachers and recalled the sweet memories of their student days.
On this occasion, professor S I Bhat, professor Vasanthi, professor Vishnu Bhat, professor Janardana Herale, campus director Fr Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, principal of Pre-University College Fr Vijay Lobo were honoured by them. As a token of gratitude, they donated Rs 50,000 towards developmental activities of the institution. The campus director complimented the students for their generosity.
The alumni Mahammad welcomed the gathering. Rosita proposed the vote of thanks. Rohini compered the programme.
