Mangalore: MRPL Scholarships to 926 Deserving Students

Mangalore, Feb 2:
ONGC Group Company-the Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals (MRPL) for the benefit of the community in and around the city gave scholarship of Rs 700 per month to 926 students each attending primary to high school. This is part of its Samrakshan programe which has been launched sometime ago. 
 
The students studying in 1st standard to 10th standard from 52 schools from in and around Kuthethoor and 20 from Sarpady will benefit from these merit scholarships. The scholarships will be decided by the respective school on the basses of their performance and need.
 
“Award of these MRPL Samrakhshan scholarships to deserving students has been an on-going process this yea and, our contribution under this head has increased to Rs 6.27 lac,” informed MRPL MD R Rajamani.

    Giving scholarships to deserved ones in my point of view is one of the best deed a charitable or a management can do.  Hats off to green valley who took initiative for this
