Mangalore, Feb 6: 'A Guide to Land Legislations' a book on laws regarding conversion of land and other related laws authored by advocate and notary L D Ballal, will be released by high court judge K L Manjunath on Friday February 8 at the auditorium of SDM Law College here.
PP Hegde, a member of the bar council, addressing media persons at a press conference here on Wednesday February 6 said that V C Hatti, principal district sessions judge will preside over the book release ceremony. Deputy commissioner M Maheshwar Rao, and Dr BK Ravindra, principal of SDM Law College will be the guests of honour, he added.
The book has been penned keeping the layman in mind and the chief intention of authoring it is to help the common man in day to day life. The book serves as a guide on how to prevent being exploited in the hands of administration, the author emphasized.
