M'lore: Feb 7 -16 : No Buses from Padil to Kankanady

Mangalore, Feb 7: DC M Maheshwar Rao has ordered a ban on buses plying from Padil Junction to Kankanady railway crossing from February 7 to 16, because of underground drainage work. 

Route numbers 11, 11b, 23 and 9 will have to ply on NH 17 and go through Pumpwell-Ekkur-Jeppinamogaru, and move towards Pakkaladka-Bajal Church-Jalligudda-Veeranagar-Faisalnagar. Other heavy vehicles have to ply on NH-17 and take the Pumpwell-Ekkur-Jeppinamogaru route or Ekkur-Pakkaladka-Jalligudda cross route. All light motor vehicles will move from Bajal Cross through Mangalore Junction (Kankanady) to Amar Alva Bus Stand, and reach the NH at Naguri.
