Mumbai, Feb 6: Kannada department, in the city released 'Sri Aurobindo's Influence on the writings of professor Vinayaka Gokak', an essay written by Dr G V Kulkarni on the basis of writings by Krishna Gokak at Kalina campus, Vidyanagari, Santacruz east on Saturday February 4.
Columnist Ravi R Anchan, poet Siddappa Sabanna Bidari and famous artiste of Bengaluru, Ramya Vasista were present on the dais.
Surekha Sundaresh, Dinaker N Chandan, S Nalin Prasad, Sugandha Satyamurthi, R M Ganachari, Kumuda K Alva, Jyothi N Shetty, Anitha S Shetty, Latha Santhosh Shetty Muddumane, H Parasappa, Lalitha Prabha Angadi, Sanrojini and others were present.
Kannada department assistant Dr Poornima S Shetty welcomed everyone, introduced the guests and compered the programme. Shivaraj M G proposed the vote of thanks.
