Mangalore: Airport Officials Arrest Man for Forging Passport

Mangalore, Feb 20: Authorities at Bajpe airport here arrested a person who tried to travel abroad using a forged passport on Tuesday, February 19.

The arrested has been identified as Anil Kumar (29), resident of Kasargod. He forged the passport of a certain M Ramachandra by affixing his own photograph and tried to travel abroad.

The alert immigration personnel nabbed him when he was about to board the flight to a Gulf country and later handed him over to the custody of Bajpe police for further enquiry.
