Karkala: Kabbinale V Bharadwaj to Chair Literary Convention

Karkala, Feb 22: Senior scholar and Ashthawadhani Dr Kabbinale Vasanta Bharadwaj will chair the tenth taluk Kannada literary convention to be held at Muniyal on Friday March 21.

This was announced by Ambatanaya Mudradi, president of taluk chapter of Kannada Sahitya Parishat at a preparatory meeting held at Muniyal College auditorium on Thursday February 21.

Dr Kabbinale is the son of Madhusudan Bhat and Sumati and was born in 1961 at Kabbinale.  He holds MA, B.Ed, PhD degrees.  At present he is a lecturer in the staff training college of State Bank of Mysore at Mysore.  He is a well-known yakshagana artiste too.
