Mumbai: Founder member of Jain Sangha, no more

Mumbai, Jun 6: Founder member of All Karnataka Jain Sangha and present member of it's working committee Jaya A Jain aged 67, passed away at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Andheri west on Saturday June 3 after a brief illness.

He was a resident of Ishan SRI Housing Society, Dahanukarwadi, Kandivli west and hailed from Kuppepadav, Mangaluru.

He was employed in the prestigious Polychem Company, in Mumbai since the last 35 years.

Besides being a social worker behind the scene, he had worked tirelessly towards the progress of the Jain association.

He has left behind a wife, daughter and a large number of friends and relatives. His last rites were held in his hometown.
