Bengaluru: Man cheats woman vendor of Rs 12,000 with fake notes

Bengaluru, Oct 2: A woman vendor was duped of Rs 12,000 by a man who issued her colour photocopy notes of Rs 2,000 at KR Puram market in Bengaluru on Sunday.

Nandishwari from Andhra Pradesh sells vegetables and flowers at KR Market. A person who brought vegetables from her requested change of Rs 12,000.

An unsuspecting Nandishwari accepted six notes of Rs 2000 notes and issued change. Later, she went to a textile showroom to purchase clothes and was shocked when the store owner said the notes are fake.

Upon close examination, the notes were found to be colour photocopies. Nandishwari has lodged a complaint in the police station.

    why should he cheat a poor vendor woman who works for her daily bread?condemnable.Hope he will comeagain to try his luck second time.If he comes give him first with footwear before handing over to police.
