Kundapur, Oct 5: A Bolero vehicle on October 5 hit a scooter near Anejari, Halkal, here. Gujjadi resident Shanker Ganiga (60) who was riding the scooter was seriously injured in the accident and died.

Shanker Ganiga was a special devotee of Gujjadi deity. The incident happened whilst on his way to Kollur by scooter. The Bolero was heading to Kerala from Kollur.

A police case has been registered at Kollur police station.
