Mangaluru: Zubair murder - BJP Minority Morcha warns of violent protests if killers not arrested

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (EP)

Mangaluru, Oct 6: Joylus D'Souza, district president of BJP Minority Morcha has warned of holding violent protests if the killers of Zubair are not arrested at the earliest.

“BJP Minority Morcha strongly condemns the murder of BJP activist Zubair, last night,” said a press release.

“Law and order has completely collapsed in the state under the rule of Congress. Ordinary people inevitably live in the atmosphere of fear. Therefore, investigation into the murder of Zubair should be intensified and suspects should be arrested immediately. Violent protests will be held in the district otherwise,” it added.

It may be recalled that masked men who came in a bike attacked Zubair and Ilyas on the night of October 4. While Zubair died, Ilyas sustained injuries. It is suspected he was murdered out of personal enmity.
