Beltangady: Lovers from different religions arrested when eloping - huge crowd gathers

Daijiworld Media Network - Beltangady (SP)

Beltangady, Oct 9: In a swift operation, police personnel from the town station here arrested a Hindu youth when he was eloping with a lady belonging to another religion after both of them fell in love with each other. On this occasion, hundreds of youngsters from both the religions had gathered in front of the police station here.

The incident happened on Sunday October 8.

The youth from Manjotti in the taluk, who is aged 19, was in love with the 20-year-old girl from Navoor village, since the last five years. The girl had reciprocated his love in equal measure. The youth is employed at Bengaluru now while the girl, who was in college, had recently completed her education. As the family members of the girl was aware about the love interest of the girl and they disapproved it, they were keeping a close watch on her movements. Still, the girl, with help from the friends of the youth, succeeded in running away from her home on Saturday.

Thereafter, the family members of the girl filed police complaint, accusing the youth of kidnapping the girl. Police personnel who checked location of cellphones, found that the two were at Hassan. With help from Hassan police, they detected the car in which the couple was travelling. Immediately, assistance of Hassan police was sought and on Sunday, both the lovers were brought to the town police station here. On that occasion, a huge crowd comprising members of both the communities gathered in front of the police station. The situation was threatening to go out of control when BJP district Yuva Morcha president, Harish Poonja, and SDPI leader, Akbar Beltangady, reached there and succeeded in cooling the fraying tempers.

Both the lovers said that they were moving to Bengaluru on their own accord and it was not a case abduction. They also vouched for their mutual love lasting five years. After both of them recorded statements and executed bonds, they were allowed to go with their respective families.

Horrible, these people have nothingelse to do ,but to see what others are doing who is in love and who not.why should so many people collect there? They donot know what is happening in their house. One more disturbs me.Boy is 19years old,and working in Bangalore but what and how much he is earning?is it enough to two people in case of marraige ?Girl too should first think of future life whether it is enough what he is working? If both of them love each other ,first do the things what should be done ,marry after having a basic of life ,work, enough earning, house .Not enough to run after him ,later come back with achild having no money.frustrierend.They are young ,no need of runaway without parents knowledge. As children they didnt live together,so when they live together, might be problems arise ,which can bring conflicts and love will fly through windows.so first be now as adults ,try to handle things first such as work, home, and marraige.so noone can blame you later ,self you both.Others are worried only about your religion.

Love cannot be categorized on Religion and class basis.
There are no different standards as far as love is concerned.
That's why, it is generally accepted as 'Love is blind’.
Lovers are always called as love birds
Love is not an object, subject or a commodity.

No place for love among Jehadis. Pity the girl as her life henceforth may be made hell by parents and relatives and may even be forcefully married off to a protector of religion. Pity the boy for his lack of knowledge of petioning the courtsand guts to take on the world. I think we should invent one more modern religion in India where lovers from different communities can go convert and take shelter and marry.

Is intercast Love/marriage is against our constitutional rights?

Now who has taken the lead. As per my knowledge the boy should be 21 years of age. Here the girl should have taken the lead to kidnap the boy as he is younger to her.

Jobless youths creating problems for every incidents... Let the girl marry any one ...her parents are fully responsible for her actions .... When the love was going on since 5 years , the parents should have thought of giving a permanent lesson to their daughter instead of waking up now .... Dear youths do not involve in such incidents .... leave the matter to the parents of the girl ....

Though I do not know the religion or identities of any of the two in love, I condemn the action of police. They should have requested hassan police just to check if the girl was going with the boy willingly. If so they should have allowed them to travel to their destination instead of creating a drama in Belthangady.
Appreciations to JP district Yuva Morcha president, Harish Poonja, and SDPI leader, Akbar Beltangady.

At present The youth cant marry this girl, he has to wait till 2019.....

young boy please wake up. Love is blind, But Marriage is Eye opener.....
You have to standup ( financially ) without support f your parents . For sake of your future you should ready to work hard. Marrying the girl is very easy... But Grahasthi Nibhaana is NOT easy....

You will come to know CLEAR PICTURE of Grahasthi at 21st or 22nd of every month as well as you became father of child......
