Mumbai: Movie premier Sophia screened at Mira Road thrills audience

Mumbai, Nov 4: In association with St Josephs Konkani Welfare Association Mira Road, the screening of the popular Konkani movie 'Sophia' was organised recently by the producer of the movie Janet Noronha at St Josephs Hall Mira Road here.

Janet Noronha, director Harry Fernandes, leading actress Ester Noronha parish priest Fr Melvynn D'Cunha and St Josephs Konkani Welfare Association managing committee members were present on stage.

Fr Melvynn with all the members present on stage invoked the Almighty with a prayer and lit the lamp. Mira Road resident and actress of ‘Sophia' movie, Florine Mathias, Janet Noronha, Harry Fernandes and Ester Noronha were felicitated with a flower bouquet.



The movie and the powerful sound effects at the Dolby Theatre thrilled the audience.

Sophia which has been well directed by the experienced director, carries a good story line and melodious songs as well as excellent acting by the artistes is truly an enjoyable family movie.
