Mangaluru: City lad bags gold at National Ice Skating Championships

Mangaluru, Jan 9: Niranjan Rajeev was crowned as Jr(c) national champion after winning gold medal at the 14th National Ice Skating Championships held in Gurgaon, Haryana from January 2 to 3, 2018.

Niranjan is a class 9 student at Lourdes Central School.

He is also part of national short track speed skating team and has been selected for advanced international training camp.

Niranjan is the son of Rajeev Gopalakrishnan (MD, Callystro Infotech) and Nisha Panicker. Niranjan is been trained by Indian national coach, Avadhut Tawade since a last couple of years.
