Mumbai: Konkani Triveni Kala Sangam celebrates Konkani Utsav

Mumbai, Jan 29: Konkani Triveni Kala Sangam here on Saturday evening January 27 celebrated Konkani Utsav 2018 at Swamy Narayan Mandira Yogi auditorium, Dadar east.

Gokarna Partagali Jevotham Math seer Srimad Vidyadhiraj Theertha Sripad Vadeyar inaugurated the festival.

The programme was held in the august presence of Vidyadheesha Theertha Swamiji. Vidyadhiraja shree released a souvenir.

“Social work is an indivisible part of humanity. It is always pleasing to the Almighty. The faith of Mumbai residents who have inculcated love together with determination in service is tremendous,” said Vidhadheesha Theertha.



Padmavibhushan Anil Kakodkar, V Leeladhar, Prakash Mallya, N D Sonde, Ashok Saraf, Suman Kalyanpur, Ajith Kunjikar, Anil Desai, Pravin Kadle, Kishore Avareshekar, Jagannath Pai, S K Sakhalkar, Sandeep Shikre, Harish Bhat, Prakash Pai, Shamsunder Kesh Kamath, M Jagannath Shenoy, U Ramadas Kamath, Basti Vaman Shenoy, advocate M V Kini, Raghunandan S Kamath, Kundapur Srinivas Prabhu, R R Kamath, Hanumath Pai, Dinesh R Nayak, G Damodar Rao, Arun Nayak and Vasanth Shanbhog were present.
Triveni Sangam joint convener K Srinivas Prabhu, vice president Dr C N Shenoy, Suguna Kamath, Shobha Kulkarni, Prakash Bhat, Umesh Pai, Kiran Kamath, Sachin Kamath and several other elite were present.

Ashok Patki and party together with Mugdha Vaishampayan, Prathamesh Lagate and other artistes presented a musical evening as part of the cultural programme.

Priests Mohandas Acharya, Sudhama Bhat, Ananth Bhat and Govind Acharya recited vedic verses. Pooja Gaithonde sang a welcome song. Chief convener D M Sukthankar welcomed everyone. Ullas D Kamath gave details of the functioning of Triveni Sangam. Mangala Khadilkar and Kumble Narasima Prabhu compered the programme. Co-convener Pradip G Pai of Hangyo Mangaluru proposed the vote of thanks.
