Mumbai, Feb 26: The union of Bunts organizations in the world held their global conference on Saturday February 24 at Radhabai T Bhandary auditorium, Bantara Bhavan, Kurla east.
Adlab Limited executive president, Bunts Sangha Mumbai former president Manmohan R Shetty and Shashi Manmohan Shetty couple set the programme in motion.
Global Bunts organization president Aikala Harish Shetty chaired the conference. Bantara Yane Nadavara Matra Sangha Mangaluru president Ajith Kumar Rai, chief guest and Bunts Sangha Mumbai president Padmanabha S Payyade lit the traditional lamp.

Suresh Shetty Shibaroor sang a prayer song. The conference began with the Bunts anthem. The programme committee convener Ulthoor Mohandas Shetty welcomed the gathering and delivered the keynote address. Ashok Pakkala and Sannidi Harish Shetty introduced the guests and compered the programme. Global Bunts Associations union joint secretary Jayaker Shetty Indrali thanked everyone. Hundreds of Bunts from India and abroad participated in the conference. Nearly 19 teams of Bunts community presented and competed in the cultural programmes.
