Mumbai: Former BEST official Benedict Rebello passes away

Mumbai, Mar 1: Well known social worker here, former official of BEST organization, Benedict Rebello (88) passed away at Fr Muller Hospital, Mangaluru due to cardiac arrest on Thursday afternoon, March 1.

He hailed from Balkunje, near Mulki, Udupi and was residing in J P road (Amboli) Madhuri Cooperative Housing Society. He had gone to his hometown a few days ago.

He has left behind Maharashtra Konkan Association president, Model Bank director, teacher Benedicta B Rebello, a son and a large number of friends and relatives. Family sources said that the last rites will be held after the arrival of his son from abroad.
