Mumbai: Manoj C Poojary elected president of Gujarat Billavara Sangha

Mumbai, Mar 6: Entrepreneur Manoj C Poojary was elected president of Gujarat Billavara Sangha in a special meeting at Baidashree auditorium here on March 3.

Dayanand Bontra, honorary president of the association chaired the meeting. S K Haleangady, V D Ameen, Manoj M Poojary, Lokayya Poojary, Manoj C Poojary, Vishwanath Poojary, Vasu Poojary, Jinraj Poojary and V V Suvarna were on the dais.

Vasu Poojary and Laxman Poojary were elected vice-presidents. Mohan C Poojary was elected as honorary advisor. It was decided in the meeting to continue the membership of executive committee members for further two years.

Manoj C Poojary is the son of Mudradi, Karkala taluk residents Chandu Poojary and Kamala Poojary. He indulges in social work as the vice-president of Gujarat Billavara Sangha and president of Surat Kannada Samaja at present.
