I join thousands of Mangaloreans in congratulating YOUNG BISHOP HENRY who I have known for the past several decades. An outstanding personality and an amiable person that he is he has made a success of his career wherever he has been.

At Sandesh he made a name for himself. At CBCI he did equally well. Despite the distinctions, he is above blessed with sincerity and humility of Heart and mind. Most of us attended the Mass this evening at Milagres Church, Mangalore where he was the Chief Celebrant. After Mass people were all praise for him. Father Henry - here I am wishing you a great tenure in Bellary. May you be be loved over there as you have been elsewhere. I recall the wonderful days when we worked together for the arrival of late Pope John Paul. Joe Gonsalves.
