Mangaluru, Mar 26: Prem Kumar Lobo, well known Konkani singer, conducted the devotion of ‘Way of the Cross’ at St Anthony’s Ashram, Jeppu on Sunday, March 25. He was assisted by a group of singers.
The theme of the devotion was ‘with Mary let us walk the way of the Cross of Jesus’. Fr Onil D’Souza, the director of the ashram in his message said the devotion of the Way of the Cross should help us to live a life of Cross. Jesus said, ‘If any one wishes to follow me let him take up his cross and follow me’. Let the devotion of the Way of the Cross inspire to live a life of Cross. Let us try to live it and ask God to help us to do the same, he said.
Fr Francis D’Souza, Fr Peter Gonsalves were present. Vincent Mascarenhas, the diocesan media secretary and Stanley Bantwal were thanked for their co-operation in organizing the devotional event.
