Mumbai: Ram Navami celebrated with religious fervor at Adamaru math

Mumbai, Mar 27: Ram Navami was celebrated at Adamaru math branch here, one of the eight maths of Udupi with religious and cultural fervor. Adamar math priest Vishwapriya Theertha swamiji offered poojas to the deity.

Panchamratha Abhisheka, Mahapooje and Annasantarpane were held till the afternoon. Srinivas Bhat performed Ramayana Harikathe, Pallakki Utsava and Suresh Bhat Kuntadi held Utsaha Bali. Vishwatheertha Swamiji pulled the chariot and set the car festival in motion. Rajatha Pallakki Utsava, special preaching, Mahapooje were held at night together with distribution of Theertha prasada.



Charkop Kannadigara Balaga and Vitala Bhajana mandali held Hari Bhajans and Vagdevi Bhajana Mandali recited Devara nama. Dinesh Vinod Kotian and party presented Saxophone music. Amitha Kala Mandira Mira road and Arpita Poojary performed Bharathanatya and Nagesh Mira road team Lava Kusha Yakshagana.

Vasudeva Udupa, Krishnaraja Upadhyaya Vamanjoor, Shanker Narayana Kalyanithaya, Sridhar Bhat, Sripathi Bhat Amboli and several other priests and devotees took part in the festival. Adamaru math Mumbai branch Diwan Laxminarayana Machintaya welcomed and compered the programme. Math Mumbai branch manager Padubidri V Rajesh Rao rendered
