Mangaluru, Mar 27: "Rationalist, Narendra Nayak, is unnecessarily accusing  me in Vinayak Baliga murder case, backed by malicious intentions and trying for my character assassination," said social worker, Hanumantha Kamath.

Addressing a press meet here on Monday March 26, Kamath pointed out that it is two years since Baliga was murdered, and that seven persons, who were accused in the case that were arrested, were granted bail by the high court. He pointed out that charge sheet is also filed in the court.

"I have no connection with this case. However, Narendra Nayak, at the protest meeting held on March 21, tried to drag me into the case.  He should stop his effort to unnecessarily get me involved with this case. Lest, I know how to react  the same way Narendra Nayak says he will do. Let the actual murderers of Baliga be punished. Let Narendra Nayak fight for getting justice to Baliga family. At the same time, I oppose his habit of picking names and projecting them as if they are accused in the case," he stated.

Chetan Kamath and GaneshPrabhu were present at the press meet.
