Belthangady: Khandi Khuris seventh performance held at Madanthyar

Beltangady, Mar 27: The seventh performance of Khandi Khuris Konkani drama written by Vally Vagga in Mangaluru diocese was held on Saturday evening March 24 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Madanthyar open grounds.

The drama was enacted by Rang Tarang Mysore in the presence of an audience of 1,100 people.

Parish priest Fr Basil Vas requested that the family of Vally Vagga should use the pen name 'Vally Vagga Madanthyar' as they have been residing near Madanthyar church for the last fifty five years. On honoring the author, he said that they are proud to felicitate the popular Konkani and Kannada author of the parish, Vally Vagga.



The parish priest draped shawls, presented flower bouquets and mementos to the director and main artistes of the drama George William D'Souza, Clifford D'Souza, and Agnes Leena and Pius Saldanha Virajpet on behalf of Rang Tarang troupe.
