Beltangady: Two-wheeler rider falls on road, crushed by bus

Beltangady, Mar 28: A two-wheeler rider died after he lost balance and was thrown on the road. The accident happened on Tuesday March 27 at Karaya in the taluk.

The deceased has been identified as Chandrashekhar (30), son of Mahabala from Naravi Arasinakatte.  He was moving in his two-wheeler from the direction of Guruvayanakere towards Uppinanday, when a KSRTC bus hit his vehicle. Chandrashekhar lost his balance and fell down on the road. A private bus that was following the KSRTC bus instantly went over him and crushed him to death.

It is learnt that Chandrashekhar was working as cleaner of a private bus in the past. Of late he was working in construction line. He had married four years back, and has left behind wife and a three-year-old son.

A case about the accident was registered in traffic police station at Uppinangady.
