Mangaluru: Devotees perform Hanuman Namaskar, chant Hanuman Chalisa, at Kudroli temple

Mangaluru, Apr 2: Under the aegis of Sri Patanjali Yoga Shikshana Samiti (R), which is involved with imparting refinement, organization of programmes and social activities with stress on service, had organized Hanuman Namaskar and chanting of Hanuman Chalisa in the premises of Kudroli Gokarnanatha temple in the city on Sunday April 1 morning.

The programme began at 5.30 am with the participation of 2,045 persons. It succeeded in spreading the message about the importance of Yoga and spirituality in one's life. The people, who have been trained in Yogasanas, reached the temple before dawn on Sunday and performed Hanuman Namaskar around the temple. They then chanted Hanuman Chalisa in front of the shrine dedicated to Lord Hanuman inside the temple premises.

Balakrishna inaugurated the programme. Karnataka province convener of the programme, Raveesh Kumar Yeyyady, Seva Pramukh, Shivanand, district Vyavastha Pramukh, Laxminarayana, district convener, Harish Kotian, Kudroli temple treasurer, Padmaraj, temple manager, Vineeth,Yoga Samiti's district leaders like Chandrashekhar, zonal convener, Jayaprakash, Lalan Kumar, Pratap, Gokul Shenoy, Ashok, Ramakrkishna, lady conveners, Prabhavati and Lalita, were present.

Divaspati Suratkal compered the programme.
