Shivamogga, Apr 5: Congress Bhavan here is the brainchild of Sahyadri chairman Manjunath Bhandary, in his constituency. It is one of the top Congress offices with nearly 10,000 sq ft of built up area. The dream was realised by its launch through president of All India Congress Committee Rahul Gandhi on April 3.
Inauguration was held in the august presence of chief minister Siddaramaiah, Mallikarjuna Kharge, D K Shivakumar, and Dr G Parameshwara of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC), leaders and party workers of Congress.
Rahul Gandhi has been one of the major contributors in the establishment of the Congress Bhavan. He lauded the professional accomplishment of the work initiative of Bhandary and the efforts in its successful completion of the Congress Bhavan, thus applauding the good work of party workers.
