2 Shiv Sena leaders shot dead in Ahmednagar


Mumbai, Apr 8 (TOI): Two local Shiv Sena leaders have been allegedly shot dead in Ahmednagar’s Kedgaon area.

This happened on Saturday evening. The deceased include the deputy leader of Ahmednagar unit.

The incident happened after the poll result were out in Ahmednagar Municipal Corporation bypoll. The Congress' Vishal Kotkar defeated the Sena's Vijay Pathare by a thin margin of 454 votes.

"Sanjay Kotkar (35) and Vasant Anand Thube (40) were killed after they were shot from point blank range by two men on a motorcycle," a police official said.
