Udupi, Apr 14: A sitar recital and 'Bhajan Sandhya' devotional programme is scheduled are scheduled on April 15 at 6 pm at Laxmi Venkataramana temple auditorium here.
The performance will be held in the presence of Kashi math seer Samyameendra Theertha under the aegis of Laxmi Venkataramana temple, Chempi, Sastan as part of a series of cultural programmes to celebrate the month of spring.
Promising young artiste of Mangaluru, Ankush N Nayak will present the sitar recital and famous singer from Hubballi, Pankha Jayatheertha Mevundi will conduct the 'Bhajan Sandhya', the voice of saints.
The event is sponsored by Pattabhi Rice and Floor Mills Sastan's Umesh Prabhu and Mangaluru Expert educational institutes.
The organizers say that entry for music lovers is free and urge the people to come in numbers.
