Mangaluru: Monsoon may enter Kerala by May end

Mangaluru, Apr 18: India meteorological department has predicted monsoon to enter Kerala by the end of May this year or first week of June.

Parts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts received good rainfall coupled with thunder in the early hours of Tuesday and Wednesday. The city too had its fair share of rainfall in the early morning of Wednesday. Good rain is also reported from Mulky, Sullia and several other regions, while some other areas experienced cloudy weather.

Padubidri in Udupi district received good rainfall. Several parts of this district had cloudy weather with intermittent drizzle.

The meteorological department said that coastal Karnataka will be enveloped  by clouds for next two days with chances of rainfall in a few places.
