Mangaluru: Attack on assistant commissioner - court cancels interim bail

Mangaluru, Apr 18: Advocate for the accused in the case relating to attempt to assault the assistant commissioner here in the past  moved an application for regular bail to his clients in the court on Tuesday April 17.

The court which heard the application, quashed the interim bail sanctioned to one of the accused in the past. The police were also directed to produce the accused in the court.

One of the accused, Mahesh Achar, is in judicial custody relating to the case. Another accused, Surendra Shetty, had secured interim bail. The police are now searching for Surendra Shetty.
