Karkala,May 2: "Voting is not just a political right of democracy but a sacred duty. It is our precious right. Without falling prey to lures or losing our self-esteem, we must take time out of our busy schedule and vote without fail and exercise our right." These were the instructions of Abbanadka Sandeep V Poojary, convener of the programme to the members of Nandalike Abbanadka Shreedurgaparaveshwari Friend's Club as he addressed the gathering during the voting awareness campaign before administering the oath.
President of the Club, Rajesh Kotian presided over the event.
Joint-secretary Abbanadka Sathish Poojary, treasurer Abbanadka Hariprasad Acharya, Womens Secretary Sandhya Shetty, Lalita Acharya, Leela Poojary, Pushpa Kulal and Aarthi Kumari among others were present.
