Bantwal, May 4: BJP Dakshina Kannada district spokesperson, Harikrishna Bantwal, said that it is minister, Ramanath Rai, who has been responsible for heaping mental agony on veteran Congress leader, B Janardhana Poojary. He was reacting to allegations made against him, accusing him of mentally torturing Poojary.

Addressing a press meet at the BJP office at B C Road on Thursday May 3 evening, Harikrishna added that if he had caused mental agony to Poojary, he would not have been associated with the former union minister for 35 long years. He was reacting to the charge made by district Congress vice president, Baby Kunder, accusing Harikrishna of hurting Janardhana Poojary mentally.

"Baby Kunder is a person who can be seen standing in front of B Ramanath Rai with folded hands. He is a broker of Rai. Who had closed the doors of Congress office at Mangaluru to B Janardhana Poojary, although Poojary was its saviour?," he questioned.

District BJP vice president, G Anand, vice president of block BJP committee, Devappa Poojary, secretary, Seetaram Poojary, Suresh Kulal and others were present.
