Mangaluru: Biruver Kudla donates Rs 50,000 to bus driver suffering from kidney failure

Mangaluru, May 4: Friends Ballalbagh Biruver Kudla offered financial help to a bus driver who is suffering from kidney failure and fistula.

Bola Shrinivas Kamath Karkala, Vasudeva Kamath Mangaluru and R J Rashmi handed over a cheque of Rs 50,000 to Sadashiva Poojary (65), a resident of Urwastore.

Addressing the gathering, R J Rashmi said, "Biruver Kudla is into noble work of helping the poor and needy for the last three years. It has become a role model for other associations too."



Biruver Kudla founder president Uday Poojary Ballalbagh said, "Several families have reached out to us seeking help. Every month Friends Ballalbagh Biruver Kudla hands over financial aid given by the members and donors to the needy. In last three years, we have distributed more than Rs 20 lac financial aid.

Beneficiary Sadashiva Poojary thanked Biruver Kudla for their support and said that already they have spent in lacs for treatment and needs more monetary help.

Businessman Raveendra Nikkam, Pramod Ballalbagh, Lathesh Ballalbagh, Manish Chilimbi, Vinith G Bangera, Likith R Kotian, Raghuram Shetty, Venkatesh Bhandary Mumbai and others were present.
