Either BJP will take over power in Karnataka or there will be mid-term polls: Muralidhar Rao

Bengaluru, May 28 (PTI): The HD Kumaraswamy-led coalition government in Karnataka will not be able to complete its full term and either the BJP will have to take over the mantle or there will be mid-term election in the state, BJP general secretary Muralidhar Rao said on Monday.

Addressing the Telangana BJP state executive meeting in Hyderabad, Rao alleged that Congress president Rahul Gandhi has “miserably failed” in leading his party in Karnataka.

“There are only two alternatives — either the BJP has to take the responsibility or there will be mid-term election in Karnataka. There is no other way. It is people’s mandate,” he said.

“This (Karnataka) government cannot run like this. Because history says that any party with just 37 seats or 20 seats or 25 seats cannot run the government in democracy,” he claimed.

JD(S) leader Kumaraswamy, whose party secured only 37 seats in the recently concluded Karnataka assembly election, took over as chief minister of the state last week with the support of the 78-member Congress team.

According to Rao, who is in-charge of Karnataka’s party affairs, the people of the state voted against the Congress and it entered into an “unholy tie-up” with the JD(S).

“People wanted Congress-mukt Karnataka. The way Ravana kidnapped Sita (in Ramayana), Rahul Gandhi and Congress hijacked democracy in Karnataka,” he said. “This will have an impact on political landscape of the country.”

Taking a dig at Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, he said Naidu’s campaign against the BJP fell flat as Telugu-speaking people in the neighbouring state voted in favour of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The senior BJP leader said the ‘NaMo’ App through which Modi held video interactions with party cadre during the Karnataka elections, would be used all over the country during the Lok Sabha polls.

Telangana BJP president K Laxman said the party would soon chalk out a road map to reach out to the masses ahead of the 2019 general election. He said the party would undertake various programmes to highlight the “failures and corruption” of the TRS government in Telangana.

He is right! More chances of BJP taking over!
BJP is expert as they have lots of money to buy MLAs.
All parties had black money in abundance prior to September 2016. By demonetizing Modi succeeded in wiping out all the black money hoarded by these parties and he and his party managed to convert huge sum of money prior to demonetization.
Demonetization was a planned drive to make these oppositions parties financially weak.

Extremely disappointed to note the utter nonsense act BJP is putting up for the public. Have some SHAME. The coalition has just been formed and they want mountains to be moved. Is this the way you bring Indians together. You must be dreaming. When election is over you do not decide the fate. People will decide. Do not be jokers. Have some decency..

We are from Great India. Let us build India.Let everyone start becoming busy working & doing the good. See the development of India. No Country in the world can Compete with the resources India has, the population it has, the education it has and had. Come on human beings. Open your hearts and minds and start working for the betterment of India. Stop creating everywhere unrest and spoiling everyday of every human being. Come on start being good human beings then dont start hate in your hearts and mind. You will be a beautiful wonderful human being. At the end you will leave everything that is accumulated here. So dont waste your time on these breaking up people with wrong theories., Think of your Country and how you imagine to see beautiful India for your next generation.

This is a challenge for the Congress to demonstrate their leadership by accommodating the smaller numbers and winning their confidence and giving a reasonably good governance to the 6.5 core people of Karnataka. Congress after losing state after state must not keep on doing the same mistakes. Stop blaming the forefathers and talk on firm developmental plans for the future. Congress must join the unified coalition party in order to create a better free India with development mantra and time bound action plan to achieve them. Jai Karnataka, Jai Hind, Vande Mataram.

Election Commission loses the by elections as EVMs malfunction.
The Election Commission of India took another hit on its credibility and integrity on Monday after claiming that EVM machines and VVPAT units malfunctioned due to ‘heat’
A large number of complaints were received about malfunctioning of both Electronic Voting Machines as well as VVPAT (Voter Verifiable Paper Trail) from Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha constituencies of Palghar and Bhandara-Gondia and Kairana, respectively. In many booths polling had to be suspended and local EC officials blamed the malfunction on the ‘heat factor’ and ended up inviting ridicule.
A more serious allegation was made by Nationalist Congress Party leader Praful Patel, who said the party had complained against using EVMs brought from Surat in Gujarat and they were the ones which were reportedly acting up. He demanded the election be scrapped and held again with paper ballots. Similar complaints were made by both the Shiv Sena in Palghar and from the Rashtriya Lok Dal candidate at Kairana, Tabassum Hasan.
Questions raised over EVM malfunctionThe Opposition and even a section of the media were quick to raise two questions:When the EVMs functioned well in the month of May in 2004 and 2009 general elections and presumably in most of the 10 assembly constituencies where byelections were held today, why have there been so many complaints from three of the four Lok Sabha constituencies where polling was held today? (the fourth constituency is in Nagaland)Why is it that the BJP is least vocal about EVM complaints?
#ElectionCommissionOfIndia has added 2 new guidelines for holding elections to their rule book in 2018.
    1. EVM’s malfunction at will (who’s will is the question ?), & seem to be a common occurrence.
    2. IT Raids on candidates & members of all political parties other than the BJP.

There are reports that in Noorpur 140 EVMs are faulty.Nearly 25% of all the EVMs in Bhandara-Gondiya are defective or malfunctioning.

Then either of Goa , Manipur,Meghalaya and Arunachal pradesh have to take a charge or there should be mid term polls .

Waise bhi Goa governance is getting stagnant ,if it was congress ruling and CM woukd be on foreign land for treatment ,then BJp would have made Gia upside down.

We ARE PROUD THAT CONGRESS IS MAINTAINING WELL DISCIPLINE ALL OVER OUR NATION.AND GOD IS ALWAYS WITH GOOD PEOPLE.

Karnatak opted to be Karnataka and not another UP.
