Mangalore, Sep 15: Speaking at a programme organized to observe 'Sacrifice Day of Kashmiri Hindus,' Karkala Rajendra Bhat opined, that the Hindus have been in a deep slumber, although a time bomb is ticking at their feet. The programme was held at the hall of Vaishya Eduational Trust in the city by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti on Sunday September 14.

Because of the fraud played by India on Kashmiri HIndus for the last 60 years, over 94,000 Kashmiri Hindus have been evicted from their home land and forced to beg in the streets of Delhi, Lucknow and other big cities. Although the terrorists have declared their next target as Raghunath Mandir, the Hindus here have been totally oblivious to the situation, and leading an idle life, relying on principles of religious equality and harmony, he ridiculed.

The caste system has been eating up the foundation of Hinduism just like termites. The religion, which has the potential of being a leading light to the world, is on the wane. We should decimate the inequalities within ourselves, he stressed.

Pramod Mutalik of Rashtreeya Hindustana Sene in his address, expressed regret to the fact that organizations like KFD and PFI have been thriving in Dakshina Kannada district, once considered strong base of Hindu organizations. Many of these people wear Pakistani uniforms, giving doubts about their allegiance. The terrorists are undermining the national security by planting bombs. People have to unite to fight against this menace, he said. He also opined, that the India's lenience in letting Pakistan to go scot free even after five wars, has emboldened it to suport the terrorists.

The gathering condemned serial blasts at Delhi. An exhibition showing atrocities on Hindus, named 'FACT' was arranged.
