Byndoor, Jun 2: “I am proud of having served in religious and educational sector, but new in politics. Yet I know the aspirations of people. I have understood the problems of people. I will work with clear vision and work hard as per the expectations and likings of people,” said Byndoor MLA B M Sukumar Shetty.

He was speaking to the huge gathering of fans and activists after the inauguration of his office here.

He said, “Elections are over now and I have become the MLA. I will work with humility as the representative of 25 villages and servant of all responding to their pains. I will concentrate on development without becoming a puppet of anybody. I will work to develop facilities of drinking water, education, roads and transport together with attempts to stop Matka business that squeezes the lives of poor people.

“I will make sure that there is no discrimination in the constituency and officials provide pro-people administration. I will be in the office once in every fifteen days and listen to the problems of people,” he said.

Deepak Kumar Shetty welcomed and thanked. Party constituency committee president Sadananda Uppinakudru, district panchayat members K Babu Shetty, Shanker Poojary, Suresh Batavadi, other elite and department officials were present.
