Sullia: Well-known advocate kills self

Sullia, Jun 2: B S Shariff (48), an advocate who had also functioned as national trainer for Jaycees, was found to have hanged himself at his home here on Friday morning June 1.

Shariff was the son of Congress leader, Bapu Saheb from Aramboor in Aletty village. He had functioned as president of Sullia Jaycees, national trainer of Jaycee movement as well as legal advisor for various organizations and institutions in the taluk. Later, he became city president of Rotary Club here and convener of Green View Education Society. Besides, he had also held different posts with a number of entities.

The deceased is survived by his parents wife and three children. Reasons for taking this extreme step are not yet known.
