Mumbai, Jun 2: Menku Karia Poojarthi (78), hailing from Alevooru, Doddanagudde, Udupi, passed away at her residence on May 31.

She has left behind three sons including Dr Iswar Alevooru, journalist and editor of Akshaya monthly magazine, three daughters and several friends and relatives.
